What is Central Services?

Central Services is the charter management organization (CMO) that supports both Central Carolina Academy and Chatham Charter School in Siler City. CCA was created as a replication of the Chatham Charter model, and a shared central team handles many operational functions across both schools.

Why does this matter?

The Board of Directors sets the strategic direction for CCA. Central Services helps execute the day-to-day operations — admissions logistics, communications, athletics operations, business management, and instructional support.

Understanding the distinction between governance (the Board) and operations (Central Services) helps families know who to contact about what.
