Hi I am Tracy Norris, my daughter is Gracie Norris and she is a rising senior at CCA. She has been at CCA since the start of her freshman year.
We came to CCA because of the administration, have known them for many years.
Prior to coming to CCA my daughter attended an unnamed local private school and she had a love for softball having played for many years. However, she was bullied by other clicky students that played softball for the school which caused her to give up the sport that she so dearly loved, for good. It broke my heart to watch her go through this and to realize that the administration at that school cared more about $$ than about the actual students was infuriating.
Since coming to CCA I have watched a side of my child come out that I never would have imagined. Thanks to the amazing theater teacher Kristee McCusker and Music teacher Riley Bohn my shy reserved daughter has fallen in love with theater, music, acting and singing. (Don't ask me where she got this talent bc it was not from her parents). Along with that, she has stepped up as a leader. She has served as the stage manager for the last two years for the CCA theater productions. She has also discovered that she loves guiding and helping younger students find their place in the theater.
I apologize for this being a long post I just have a love for CCA, the Administration, teachers and staff. The fact that this group of people even thought that they would get away with what they have done has lit a fire in me and I know so many of you, I am ready to fight tooth and nail for what is right.
As parents, it’s our duty to stand up for our children, because no one else will fight for them the way we do. We show them how to advocate by leading with truth, standing on facts, and never backing down from what’s right!!
